Watch it. Rusty delivers, as always. Kate Blanchett is there as well. Good cast, good story - its sort of a prequel to the real story, mind you.
Big movie - been a while since something like this came out.
A typical Ridley Scott movie. bBig-budgeted and well delivered.

The Informant

Matt Damon trying to pull an occasional George Clooney. Remember 'Syriana'? Put on the weight, do away with the good looks, the complete make-over.
George Clooney co-produced this one. Looks very much like 'Men who stare at goats' combined with a Coen brothers flick. Boring at times, very sterile most of the times. Not a complete waste of time if you like that type of cinema but nothing exciting really.

Iron Man 2

Crap. Dont waste your time. Downy Jr. keeps waving his hands in the air, commanding his computer to come up with stupid stuff like, for example, a new element! It's that lame. Whatever happened to Micky Rourke's face!
What a shame though - part one so rocked...

Sex & the city 2

I almost stopped watching it after the first 10 minutes, not because its a chick-flick, but I seriously thought that Lisa Minnelli's face would melt at any moment. Mrs wouldn't let me watch anything else so I ended up watching it completely. I have to admit, part one of this series was not bad. Not bad at all. But this, well, its not that good, to put it simply. Tries to ride on the hype and loyalties a bit too much. You feel like they did it because they thought they had to. Simply put, you could watch a bit of it when it gets to TV or if you're fan of the actual TV series, you could watch it as a long episode and then move on. Not worth wasting money on it though.

Funny People (2009)

Adam Sandler and totally watchable. You can even tell people you watched it. Seth Rogen is there. The bespectacled fat guy is there too. Hell, there're so many familiar faces it this movie. Good story. No, powerful story. Eric Banna plays Aussie after a long time - and keeps it real. A refreshing movie all in all.

The Hangover (2009)

So many people loved this movie. But so many people hadn't seen a lot of the stuff that has been produced on similar turfs for quite some time now. This a Seth Rogen movie, without Seth Rogen.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008)

Drags on a bit. Conceptually, its not a bad story. Interesting. But after a while, the bread crumbs on the coffee table from yesterday's breakfast grab your attention and for the first time in years, you feel like they need to be taken care of straight away.

"Hung" (2009)

watched complete season 1 & 2 of Hung. not bad ;)

The Blind Side (2009)

Watch it. great movie, true story, good acting - it has everything. Sandra Bullock is great in this one.

Confessions of a Shopaholic (2009)

Not a bad movie. Sounds like it could be a disaster, but is quite OK. Some parts are a bit over the top and the acting gets bad at times though. But overall, not a bad DVD on a Sunday Night. Also, makes us realise how much stuff we've acquired over time that we really dont need.

Hot Tub Time Machine (2010)

Same old storyline. We've all seen it being repeated several times now. Back to the Future did it and that was the best.
Not a waste of time though. It has its moments, it's completely watch-able. Predictable, but watch-able. The nostalgia-factor is there as well, the scenes from the 80s have been done real well. Somet
hing like Hangover, set in the 80s. Not bad.

Date Night (2010)

Any movie that relies even a bit on Marky Mark's abs is bound to be a waste of time. Weak plot, average acting (we've seen so much better from Steve Carell) and a very predictable ending.

I Hate Valentine's Day (2009)

Same cast as My Big Fat Greek Wedding. Nowhere near as good. Has its moments but all in all a poor attempt at re-creating any one of those Hugh Grant movies. Not too bad if the missus is making you watch this - just focus on the pizza.

The Wolfman (2010)

Drags on a bit. Would've been better if there was more of the actual Wolfman than pointless dialogue. Promises a great time but doesn't quite gets there.

Law Abiding Citizen (2009)

Gerard Butler hasn't done anything good for a long time. Jamie Foxx needs to start making good movies, it's been awhile since 'Ray' came out. There are traces of excitement throughout the movie but nothing fetching. Not a total mishap but try to avoid if anything better catches your eye.

A Serious Man (2009)

Ok - I like Coen brothers, but this is absolute crap. Painfully boring. The loserness of the main character is torturous and that's about all this movie achieves as far as merit goes.

The Damned United (2009)

Enjoyable. Especially if you like soccer and films from England. Good performances, based on true story, lots of English accents and lots of soccer. Worth watching.
